Catching up on the last couple days...

That is Collepino, a tiny village from the middle ages.

Though it is one of the more recent villages in the area.

We took a walk in Monte Subasio, a national park just above Assisi.

Lulu has a way with butterflies.

Back in Perugia, Felix gets some well deserved dungeon time.

They did eventually let him out.

With Guilia, Nina's wonderful interpreter/assistant/angel.

When they grow hibiscus, they grow hibiscus.

On our way up Monte Cucco, a national park in northeast Umbria.

She also has a way with grasshoppers.

In Gubbio we get our first Roman amphitheater.

Gubbio is a small, but really beautiful village.

Another day, another gelato.

It has a really fun cable lift to get to the top of the mountain. You stand in one of these cages.

Above, the hang gliders take off in Monte Cucco (click play for video).

Do not try this at home (video).
